ARTIST STATEMENT
As an animator with 7 years of experience, I have worked on various creative and commercial projects, showcasing my skills as an animator, artist and director. As befits a good animator, I am a style chameleon, adapting to different styles and techniques depending on the project. Driven by my experience with bipolar disorder and being a migrant, I use art to express my sense of displacement.

Although I've started with very traditional and academic art, my preferred medium of expression is digital art. I believe that technology, including AI, is the future of art and is a powerful tool for artists. Due to my own struggles with memory loss, I am deeply moved by the topic of memory. I document my present through visual diaries, recreate old memories, and even go beyond reality to create new memories and events that never actually occurred. These images reflect how memories have gaps and inconsistencies, as the algorithm behind AI-generated images connects pieces of information in a way that is not always natural or seamless.

As someone with bipolar disorder, exploring the relationship between body and psyche is a constant pursuit for me. I often attend nude figure sketching sessions to examine the body and use my knowledge to express my own relationship with it. In my self-portraits, I aim to capture my emotional states and convey what my disorder truly means. Documenting my experiences and sharing them with others is a crucial aspect of my work.
